Eclipse Avalanche: Ice vs Fire
TLDR: Pisces/Aries gives us something to cry about/fight for.
Avalanches are inevitable. As snowpack shifts across Water’s spectrum of states thanks to our Sun, foundational stability decreases. There’s no avoiding an avalanche, only mastering tactics for survival. This week’s Big Sky Story asks: which avalanches have we discharged, which have we dodged?
If post-Pisces avalanches threaten to sweep us away — or bury us alive — then emerging Aries energetics arrive with offers for self-rescue.
Today’s Equinox gateway marks the half-way point between last week’s Lunar Eclipse Virgo and next week’s Solar Eclipse Aries, as well as the seasonal transition from Mutable Water to Cardinal Fire. The puddles of Pisces season gave us something to cry about, and the sparks of Aries season give us something to fight for.
By March’s end, we’ll welcome material manifestations of what we’ve sensed since last September: new flames bursting forth (Venus + Mercury Aries) with terminal velocity through layers of ice and rock (Neptune + Saturn Pisces.)
Remedy? Expect the avalanche. Know the terrain. Look for fall lines. Watch the weather. Leave word on your whereabouts. Avoid panic. Save your breath and use your voice when it counts. Bring a shovel. Pray.
